SUMMARY:Freeport to Port O'Connor Toy Run
DESCRIPTION:The Who\, What\, When and Where:\n\nJoin us for the 22nd Annual Freeport to Port O'Connor Toy Run.....YES\, 22 amazing toy filled years!!!\n\nBring your donated toys and boats to Surfside Marina in Surfside TX at 8am Saturday\, December 2nd. Our main fleet will depart out in the ICW (Intracoastal Waterway) in Surfside at 9am. Dropping your boat in at Bridge Bait or somewhere else? No worries\, you cant miss us.\n\nStops:\n\nWe stop in Matagorda Harbor for lunch. The harbor also has fuel and supplies for anyone needing such. This is also a stop where other boaters join the flotilla.\n\nDestination:\n\nAssembly at the Port O'Connor Jetties:\n\nWe typically arrive at the POC jetties around 2:30 to 3:00 PM. We ask everyone to please assemble so we can idle into POC together.\n\nToy Delivery:\n\nAll toys are delivered to the Angel Tree Staff at The O'Connor Inn (Formerly The Inn At Clark's). Clark's is also our host hotel and provides dock space at your doorstep and a free meal is provided! Once all the toys have been offloaded everyone is encouraged to decorate their boats for the lighted boat parade. Immediately after sunset we venture out into the ICW to greet the residents of Port O'Connor at their piers and docks to wish them all a Merry Christmas.\n\nLast year we had an estimated $70\,000 in toys and over 30 boats and this year we hope for more boats loaded to the gunnels with toys for many deserving children!\n\nBe sure to register your boat once the link is posted as we will need a head count for our flotilla to Port O'Connor.\n\nIf you have any questions send us a message and we will get back with you asap!
