DESCRIPTION:The Countdown to the World's Biggest Day of Generosity is On!!\n\n\n\nGivingTuesday\, created in 2012\, started as a simple idea that encouraged people to do something good. It has since grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give\, collaborate\, and celebrate generosity.\n\n\n\nThe Friends invite you to join the movement\, whether it's some of your time\, a donation\, or the power of your voice in your local community. The Friends of the Port O'Connor Library is again raising funds through a #Giving Tuesday campaign. This one-day fundraising event will occur on Tuesday\, November 30th\, and we encourage patrons and library lovers to make a gift to the Friends of the Port O'Connor Library.\n\n\n\nFor those who prefer to donate time to our cause\, we will be cleaning the library and working out in the garden area on Tuesday\, November 30th\, and would love to have and encourage volunteers to join us.
