About Us

Established by the Texas Legislature, GBRA was created as a water conservation & reclamation district. GBRA provides stewardship for the water resources in its 10-county statutory district. GBRA works with communities to prepare for growth through continuous development of water & wastewater planning. GBRA is developing a basin wide Habitat Conservation Plan which will allow for the protection & preservation of endangered & threatened species. GBRA Education Dept. works with customers, teachers, & students to increase awareness & appreciation of the water & natural resources in the Guadalupe River Basin. 361-571-2662
