About Us

Dockside Flippers is a Port O’Connor–based project platform focused on marine mammals, with a special emphasis on the local dolphin populations that inhabit the surrounding bays and coastal waters. The project is dedicated to observing, documenting, and sharing insights into dolphin habits, personalities, and social behaviors in order to help people better understand and connect with the world beneath the ocean’s surface. By bringing awareness to the intelligence and individuality of marine mammals, Dockside Flippers encourages respect for marine life and promotes a deeper appreciation for the coastal ecosystems that make Port O’Connor unique.
